Why Attend?

Learn communication that actually works
You'll practice the Imago Dialogue - a structured way of talking and listening that helps both partners feel truly heard and understood. This isn't theory. You'll use it throughout the weekend and leave knowing how to use it at home.

Understand the patterns beneath your conflicts
Why do the same arguments keep happening? You'll gain insight into how past experiences shape your relationship dynamics, and learn how to work with those patterns rather than against them.

Create lasting change together
This weekend isn't just about feeling good in the moment. You'll build skills and awareness that continue to serve your relationship long after you leave.

Learning in a supportive environment
The workshop is designed to feel welcoming and safe for couples of all orientations. Most of your work is done privately with your partner, with guidance and support from us throughout.

Our Story

A Commitment to Growth, Fun, and Transformation

Nichole & Scott

I (Nichole) have been immersed in the Imago approach for over a decade, assisting in numerous Getting the Love You Want workshops and witnessing, again and again, how transformational this process can be for couples.

Over the past few years, Scott has joined me in deepening his understanding of Imago. Together, we’ve been applying these principles in our own relationship ever since. We’re quite different by nature: I’m perfectly content curled up with a good book under a tree, while Scott’s ideal weekend involves a mountain bike and as much riding as daylight allows. Those differences have given us no shortage of opportunities to practice what we teach: choosing curiosity over judgment, dialogue over arguing, and growth over getting stuck. It’s not always smooth sailing—but more and more, these tools help us create a relationship we love.

We’re continually inspired by watching couples find their way to that same place—where differences become something to appreciate rather than resent, and where connection deepens through understanding instead of fixing.

We don’t lead these workshops as experts with all the answers, but as two real people doing the work ourselves—committed to sharing what’s helped us and so many others. We’re currently just one step away from completing our certification as Imago Workshop Presenters, and alongside the powerful trainings we’ve participated in this past year, we bring years of experience, ongoing learning, and a lot of heart to every workshop we lead.

"Nichole and Scott are authentic, open, and loving. They used real-life examples that were effective, touching, and often humorous, which made the concepts relatable. I’ve personally witnessed the positive changes in their own relationship as they’ve applied this work — and that was influential in my decision to take the workshop. They clearly walk the talk."

Frequently Asked Questions

Wondering if a workshop is right for you?

You’re not alone. It’s totally normal to feel a mix of curiosity, hesitation, and even a little nervousness when considering a relationship workshop—especially if you’ve never done anything like this before.

Many couples who join us have similar questions:

  • Will this actually help us?

  • What if one of us isn’t sure?

  • Is it going to be intense, awkward, or just more talking?

This workshop is designed to feel welcoming, clear, and supportive—whether you’re feeling stuck in certain patterns, or just want to feel closer and more connected. Below are some of the most common questions we hear, along with honest answers based on what couples have actually experienced in the workshop.

If you're wondering something that’s not answered here, feel free to reach out and ask.

Are workshops just a bunch of couples sharing their problems in a big group?

Not even close. While some moments are shared as a group (usually lighthearted or reflective), the core of the workshop is you and your partner working privately, supported by structured exercises, guided conversations, and optional one-on-one facilitator check-ins.

This sounds intense—are we going to be “in it” the whole time?

We get that concern. While the workshop is immersive, it’s also thoughtfully paced. There’s a natural rhythm between learning, practicing, sharing quiet moments, and even laughing together. Many couples leave feeling energized and connected, not drained.

Is this going to dig up all our old wounds?

Not the goal. While deeper moments may come up, the workshop focuses on helping you connect in the present. You’ll learn new ways to listen, speak, and repair with one another. It’s not about rehashing the past—it’s about moving forward with more clarity, care, and connection.

My partner’s nervous—we’re not “group people.” Will this still work for us?

Totally normal. This isn’t about public sharing or being put on the spot. Most of the work is done privately between the two of you. You’ll be gently guided through each exercise, and the atmosphere is respectful, supportive, and designed to meet all kinds of couples right where they are.

What if one of us is way more into this than the other?

That’s actually really common. Often, one partner is more eager and the other is cautiously curious (or downright skeptical). The structure of the weekend helps ease everyone in, and more often than not, the hesitant partner ends up saying, “I’m really glad we did this.”

What if we’re doing okay—can a workshop still help?

Absolutely. Think of it like relationship strength training. Even couples who communicate well and feel connected discover something new here. The workshop offers tools and insights you can use to sustain and even grow that connection for years to come.

Will we actually get personalized support, or is it just general info for the group?

Great question. While the workshop is in a group setting, the experience itself is deeply personal. You and your partner will be working through a series of exercises and conversations designed to help you reconnect and grow together. Facilitators are also available for private support during the weekend if needed.

Isn’t a weekend too short to make a real difference?

You’d be surprised. When you have focused time, clear tools, and no daily distractions, deep shifts can happen quickly. Many couples describe the workshop as a “relationship reset.” You’ll leave with fresh language, a renewed sense of understanding, and a shared experience that sticks with you.

How is this different from couples therapy?

It’s more like a deep-dive experience. Where therapy often unfolds over time, this weekend offers a concentrated, guided journey with clear steps and tools. You’re not just talking—you’re doing. Many couples say it helped them make progress that would’ve taken months in traditional therapy.
